What’s Playing at The House of Independents
Hans Christian Andersen famously said, “Where words fail, music speaks.” If you love music, there is no better place for you than Asbury Park and The House of Independents! If you’re looking for a unique experience, sing along to a summer performance of Grease or attend a 90s dance party. It’s a great way to relax and have fun during your getaway!

The Stone Pony
One of Jersey’s best-known music venues, The Stone Pony has served as a launch pad for music legends like Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, and Jon Bon Jovi. Since opening in 1973, many of the world’s most popular musical artists have played on its stage. This historic club is a must-see when you’re in Asbury.
The Saint is one of the top small live music venues in the world and is the heart of the Asbury Park music scene. National acts like Jewel, Joey Ramone, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and the Matthew Good Band have performed for just 150 fans at this intimate and enduring venue.
If you want to enjoy live music on the beach, check out Jams in the Sand. This free summer music festival takes place every Thursday from June to August. Concerts are held at Anchor’s Bend in Asbury and feature reggae artists like Flow Tribe, Roots of Creation, the Adam Ezra Group, and more.
