How to Spend a Day on Jenkinson’s Boardwalk
1. Check Out the Rides
Did you know that Jenkinson’s Boardwalk offers over 30 different amusement rides? Whether you’re traveling with little ones, teens, or a group of adults, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Children who are new to amusement parks will love the carousel and the historic Jenkinson’s train, and young adults will be thrilled by rides like the Wave Swinger, Himalaya, and Moby Dick. You can also experience the boardwalk’s newest thrill ride, Pirate’s Plunge. It’s is the tallest ride in the amusement park and rotates 360 degrees, offering amazing views of the boardwalk and beach.
Local Tip: Jenkinson’s Boardwalk offers weekly ride specials from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Every Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m. is Wristband Day, and every Friday from 5 to 11 p.m. is Wristband Night. Stop by during these times and ride all the rides for just $20.
2. Play Games
If you prefer arcade games to amusement park rides, you’re in luck! Jenkinson’s has four arcades to choose from: the South Arcade, Pavilion Arcade, South Beach Arcade, and Frank’s Fun Center. When Does Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Open for the Season?
Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is accessible year-round. During the summer, most attractions open between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Hours and activities vary in the off-season, but the aquarium, arcades, and Sweet Shop are open all year long! Check the website for details.
