Discover The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ
The Creation of a Legendary Venue
In the early 90’s there was the Seattle sound, and on the other side of the country, there was the Asbury sound. To help showcase the uniqueness of the Jersey Shore’s music scene, Scott Stamper opened The Saint in 1994 on the corner of Main Street and Monroe Avenue. Its influence over the years has been immense, making The Saint one of the best live music venues in the country.
A Rocking Heritage
The Saint is the perfect setting to listen to live music. It’s intimate and original, and the heritage it carries within its walls is of great value for any music fan out there. In fact, New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen created the real Asbury sound (notably with his album “Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ” in 1973) and frequently stood amongst the public of The Saint. In 2010, he attended a Josh Ritter concert without anyone noticing, simply sitting at the bar like an average Joe.
A Variety of Shows From All Over The World
Did you know that The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ books around 300 shows a year?
