Accommodations in Ocean Grove, NJ

Policies:

  • Check-in is between 2-6 pm. Arrangements for late arrivals after 6pm should be made in advance by calling or e-mailing us. If you would like to arrive earlier than 2 pm, please call us at (732) 774-6552 and we will let you know if an early check in is possible.
  • Check out is at 11:00 am. Late check-outs cannot be accommodated during high season (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
  • Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside our inns. Violators will be subject to a $1,000 fine.
  • Pets are not accommodated at The Ocean Plaza Hotel or The Carriage House. Small dogs are accommodated at The Ocean View Inn at the discretion of management. There is a $35/night pet fee. Any damage to property caused by pets will be the financial responsibility of the owner.
  • All quoted room rates are for double occupancy. There is a $20/night charge for additional guests in a room; $10/night for children.
  • Deposits: A 30% deposit is required to confirm all reservations. Balances are to be paid on the day of arrival. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express. Checks are accepted only if received 10 days or more in advance of your stay.

Cancellation Policy:

Because The Ocean Plaza Hotel is a small property, cancellations strongly impact our business. We understand that things happen last minute that are outside of the guest’s control, but we hope you understand that as a small hotel with limited availability, we must enforce our cancellation policies.

  • Cancellations that are made 30 days or more in advance will receive a refund of their deposit less a $35 administration fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of the reservation will receive a refund or credit towards a future stay only if the room or suite can be re-rented in full.  Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival will be responsible for the room balance in full (your credit card will be charged in addition to the deposit you have already paid). If the room is re-rented your credit card will be refunded in the amount we receive from the re-rental. An early departure is treated the same as a cancellation. All refunds are subject to a $35 administrative fee
  • Weather Related Cancellations: We will only waive our cancellation policy for a weather related event that is declared a state of emergency.
  • Health Related Cancellations: Last minute cancellations due to health issues, family deaths or other family related issues are still subject to our cancellation policy. We will make every effort to re-book your room so your deposit may be refunded

Parking in Ocean Grove:

All parking in Ocean Grove is on the street. The good news is that it is free and there are no time restrictions. The bad news is that during the summer months parking spots are at a premium and can be difficult to find. If you are here to check in and there are no spots available close to our inns we suggest you pull into the corner spot and put your flashers on while you unload your luggage. You can then go search for a spot.
